Kalsec, ZeaVision Agree to Patent Licensing Arrangement
Kalsec Inc., Kalamazoo, MI, and Zea­Vision LLC, St. Louis, MO, have agreed to terms in a patent licensing arrangement allowing Kalsec to market zeaxanthin. The agreement will provide a “pass through” license to buyers of Kalsec’s ZeaGold zeaxanthin. Customers marketing dietary supplements, nutraceuticals, drugs and functional food products will have to pay a royalty fee license on items containing zeaxanthin in dosages up to and including 4 mg.
